Contribution is The Key. And the status points you earn by contributing to the site define your membership. Every time you take part in the dialogue — whether you make a blog post, offer opinions on the member forums or upload photos and videos — your status will increase on World Football Book.
Status Points for Each Level
Your Status Points reflect your status on the site, and the more points you get the higher your ranking will go. Each time you reach enough points to secure a new level your icon will change to show how influential you are.

As a matter of convenience we have included your Status Points right on your profile for all members to see. Members accumulate points in a variety ways, tied to whenever you make a contribution to World Football Book. For instance, making a blog post will earn you five points, and each blog comments will net you an additional two points per submission. Each public photo or video uploaded will be rewarded with three points — and every time you create a new forum thread you earn two points and any subsequent forum responses to your thread get one point each.

How are your points calculated? The list below gives you an idea of how points are earned:
- Become a World Football Book Member: 25 points
- Become a Featured Member (based on quality of contributions): 100 points
- Make a Blog Post: 5 points
- Comment on a Member Blog Post: 2 points
- Upload a Public Photo: 3 points
- Make a Profile Comment: 1 point
- Create a Public Forum Topic: 2 points
- Comment on a Public Forum: 1 point
- Each member of my Friend List: 2 points
- Comment on a Public Video: 1 point
- Establish a World Football Group: 3 points
- Your Fantasy Football results: the total of all of your earned team points
- Your Prediction League Results: the total of your prediction league points
