I'll buy whatever he's selling...

I'll buy whatever he's selling...

Its July, and you know what that means...NEW KITS!! Well, some teams got theirs earlier (see A.C. Milan), but the only ones that matter came out this week, and because the people at Juve want to get Marotta off my Vaffanculo List they decided to bribe in the only way you can bribe a fangirl...guys :) And not just any guys, footballers, attractive footballers. And the kits aren't too bad themselves either, which is always a plus considering I'm going to have to wear the thing in public for a year.

So for those of you that live under a rock aren't aware, from L-R we have Alex Manninger, Alex Del Piero (notice a pattern?) and Filippo Boniperti. Who is Filippo Boniperti you may be wondering to youselves...

Filippo Boniperti is the grandson of the one and only Juventus legend, Giampiero Boniperti duh and has recently been awarded the honour of first team member coming up from the Primavera squad. He was born in 1991, making him 19 years old and he is one of the prettiest most promising young Italian talents currently at Juve. I have been begging for him to be brought up and wanted him so badly to be in Toronto during Juve's time here, but wasn't and now he is, so I'm convinced that I'm telepathic with someone over at Juve HQ! Either that or they read this and saw how angry I was and wanted to make it up to me...I stopped hearing Motta for Giovinco after Marotta got on my shitlist...this is interesting...

Anyways! Back to the pretty :)

I actually really love our new kits! The GK kits are amazing! As are the other two...looks like I'm getting Buffon, Marchisio and Boniperti this year!!! I just hope Boniperti enjoys some time off the bench this season because he deserves it! Juve really know how to sell me a jersey...or three!!

Also, sidenote, Juve signed Martinez this week. I didn't really know what he looked like. Today I was going through some Juve training pics from today and saw this creature staring back at me. I kept wondering who in fuck's name invited the homeless guy to the Juve training. I then realized it was not a homeless man, but Martinez. Strangely, I didn't even feel bad for thinking he was homeless...I need to find a heart...

Love the away kit with the Italian flag stripes - sponsored by Barilla pasta? :) You must know that nothing comes close to the Milan kit in terms of class, simplicity and just plain fashion sense - it is Milan, after all!

Here's what Milan kits should look like: designed it myself.

Sweet looking kits. That away kit is pretty cool looking, but I would have gone all black for the keeper - like my Gigi in all-black like a mortician delivering the corpse!

Sweet looking Milan concept. Maybe you should be designing uniforms because that one would look epic with the gold trim.

I've never been much of a fan of the polo collars - only thing I can really detract from these kits.

I'm with you AC, Milan kits are better but have to give mention to AS Roma as well. Always sharp and the Palermo pinks are usually one of the best.
