We've begun to notice that a number of squads have not yet been locked in to the competition. Once you have fielded a team of 1 keeper, 10 outfield players, 1 manager and 4 substitutes - totaling 15 players and 1 manager you need to submit that squad into the competition for points to accumulate.
Good luck and happy playing!

Last Minute Fantasy Tips for South Africa

Less than 48 hours until the start of the World Cup. This means you need to make some last minute decisions about your World Cup fantasy football team.
There are so many players from which to choose, but the best fantasy football strategy isn’t to over-complicate things. Keep it simple and let the games begin.
Here are some more tips for you:
1. Make sure you've picked starters whenever possible – you don’t want members of your fantasy football team to be sitting on the bench.
2. Find out who are the set piece specialists for their respective teams as this is the easiest way to score points.
3. Keep an eye on those injury reports. They are evolving all of the time and a last minute change could be the difference between winning and losing
4. Concentrate on those first round matches. Get off to a strong start with the very best teams in your back pocket.
5. Dig in and find out some information nobody else has. Which players were like magic during qualification and which players seemed to find their form at the end of their domestic season? Hot goalkeepers, teams who get clean sheets and clubs that run into discipline problems are the types of things you should be considering with your late substitutions.
Go with your gut instinct, but also be mindful that this year's World Cup heroes may come out of nowhere to shock us all.
Good luck and happy playing!

Kaka Speaks Out On City's Pursuit of Torres

Real Madrid star Kaka has backed Manchester City's pursuit of Liverpool ace Fernando Torres. The Spanish striker is a £70 million target for City and Chelsea following Liverpool's top four failure this season.
Kaka told the Daily Express: “I am not their coach, I can’t say who they should sign, but Torres would be a great buy for them.
“He is proven in the Premier League and I guess he will want to be playing Champions League football and be at a club that has serious ambition. Like one or two other clubs in the world, City can bid fees clubs can’t turn down. After that, it’s up to them to convince the players it’s the club to sign for – and the way to convince them is offering Champions League football.”

White Supremacist Group Issues World Cup Threat

VENTERSDORP, South Africa (AP) -A South African white supremacist group whose leader was killed warned other countries Sunday to avoid sending their soccer teams to the World Cup and "to a land of murder.'
The country's ruling ANC party criticized the far-right Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging movement over the warning.
"We don't think that it's the right thing to do,' ANC spokesman Jackson Mthembu told The Associated Press. "This is a World Cup for all of us, not only black people of this country. And we have to give all the support we can for the World Cup to happen here in South Africa. We think our compatriots in the AWB should do the same as other patriotic South Africans.'
Andre Visagie, a senior member of the AWB, said the slaying of leader Eugene Terreblanche "is a declaration of war' by blacks against whites in South Africa.
"We're going to warn those nations, 'You are sending your soccer teams to a land of murder,'' Visagie said. "Don't do that if you don't have sufficient protection for them.'
Visagie vowed to avenge the death of Terreblanche but did not specify what form the vengeance would take.
South Africa President Jacob Zuma appealed for calm following "this terrible deed.' In a statement, he asked "South Africans not to allow agent provocateurs to take advantage of this situation by inciting or fueling racial hatred.'
Police said Terreblanche was bludgeoned to death in his bed Saturday by two of his farm workers in an apparent wage dispute.
South Africa has been under constant scrutiny ahead of hosting the world's biggest soccer tournament, which opens June 11, because of its high rate of violent crime.

ESPN Gets Mobile Rights for Premier League in UK

ESPN will broadcast the exclusive mobile highlight rights to all 380 Premier League matches over the next three seasons in the UK.
The rights will allow ESPN - already a Barclays Premier League television partner - to deliver in-match, post-match and customised highlights, including goals, to football fans and is another significant milestone in the company's success since winning TV rights in July 2009.
"Mobile devices are an indispensible lifeline for football fans, who expect easy, quick access to the latest goals and action wherever they are,' said Lynne Frank, senior vice president and managing director, ESPN - Europe, the Middle East and Africa. 'Adding these rights will allow us to advance our commitment to delivering great sport across the many screens UK fans use each day. Since we launched ESPN in the UK less than 250 days ago, we have been dedicated to building the foundation of a long-term relationship with UK sports fans. This is another big step in that process."
ESPN will announce specific plans and products that will utilise these rights and connect fans to the Premier League in the weeks ahead, but the move highlights the commitment to mobile as an indispensible part of the modern sports fan's life.
"ESPN's purchase of Barclays Premier League mobile clip rights demonstrates their commitment to the competition and the fans,' Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore said. 'Mobile is an increasingly important technology as hand held devices become ever more sophisticated, therefore a good offering with a strong partner is important to us both in terms of accessibility and complimenting live coverage."
The new products and services will join ESPN's growing mobile platform that includes mobile web sites for ESPN.co.uk, ESPNSoccernet, ESPNCricinfo, ESPNScrum and ESPNF1, as well as apps.
The rights are the latest addition to ESPN's multimedia portfolio, and will complement the company's television and online properties in the UK.
On television, from next season ESPN and ESPN HD will feature live and exclusive coverage of 23 Barclays Premier League matches, 25 FA Cup matches, 43 Guinness Premiership rugby matches, 30 Clydesdale Bank Premier League matches, 27 UEFA Europa League matches, German Bundesliga, the NFL's Monday Night Football, UFC, AFL, French Top 14 rugby, DTM, and much more.
